Job Description

We are now looking for an experienced measurement engineer.

With us, you will be part of a strong team working broadly within community development across the country. We work to create attractive and sustainable cities and communities. Our clients include municipalities, regions, and government agencies as well as private actors.

You will lead assignments together with your colleagues primarily within road and railway projects. The assignments can vary in scope and be in the early stages of the planning process as well as in the later stages, such as construction documents to completed facilities.

As the technical manager, you will play a central role in the projects. You will be responsible for budget, timeline, quality, and the technical design within your discipline – from planning to execution. Common to all types of assignments is that you lead and plan the technical area including fieldwork. You support other consultants and subcontractors and ensure that our deliveries meet client requirements and technical standards.

In your role, you will collaborate closely with the client, other technical areas, and various stakeholders to create integrated and sustainable solutions that meet project needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in a relevant field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

We expect you to have at least five years of experience in measurement technology and at least a few years of experience in the role of technical manager within infrastructure and construction projects.

Good knowledge of the fundamentals of measurement technology such as detail measurement and control networks from various environments is a prerequisite. Travel is a natural part of the job, and you are expected to travel regularly in your work.

You possess good skills in project economic follow-up, work commercially, and have experience in budget management and economic control of projects. We also see that you have good knowledge of the laws, standards, and technical guidelines that govern the industry, and that you can ensure that our projects comply with applicable regulations and maintain high technical quality.

To succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as you will collaborate with both national and international actors.

Since we continuously work with international partners, it is an advantage if you have experience leading employees in other countries.

Traffic authority certification for measurement I and II is an advantage.
